Clint and Kayla’s homegrown country wedding
Clint and Kayla love family, farm life, and of course, each other. We feel so lucky to know these two wonderful people and so fortunate to have been able to capture their wedding day. As you may remember from their engagement session, Clint is a 5th generation almond farmer and now Kayla is a part of that life too. For their wedding at the amazing Forest House Lodge, they really wanted to incorporate their love of the hard-working, easy-going country life. They both wore cowboy boots, grew tons of succulents together with Kayla’s mom, included lots of almonds and rice (the family also grows rice), and kept the day relaxed and fun. Don’t you just love Kayla’s blue boots? And paired with that gorgeous succulent bouquet created by Botanica, it’s simply perfect.Kayla was STUNNING!Nothing like a 5 hour energy drink with your guys to kick off the wedding day!Choices, choices…Clint and Kayla decided they wanted to spend some time together before the ceremony and have their big reveal moment in a situation where they could really soak it in and enjoy it, just the two of them. You can’t blame mom for trying to sneak a peek though!I LOVE Clint’s face when he saw Kayla coming down the aisle.
Can I just say how much i loved how everything came together at this wedding? In case you aren’t looking closely enough, those are shotgun shell escort cards. Pretty much the best thing ever. This woodgrain cake was amazing!Gotta give the almonds a little love too!
