Evan and Lynn’s Culinary School Wedding
Get ready for a beautiful and charming wedding filled with fun, family, and food! If you remember Lynn and Evan from their engagement session, you will know of their love of good food and things that grow from the ground. They tend and harvest their own little crop in their community farm in Davis where they live. It was only appropriate that their wedding was at a culinary school! Ramekins in Sonoma is SUCH a cool place. As soon as we walked in and saw the asparagus banisters, we knew we were in for a treat. We had so much fun working with Lynn and Evan leading up to the wedding through designing their save the dates, invitations, and some day-of stationery as well! Be sure to check out their design post we just shared!Check out these gorgeous florals. Susan with Garden Party did an amazing job! I think they perfectly capture the bright wildflower look they were going for. Lynn was such a lovely and easygoing bride. She looked so stunning!Loved the bright blue lace bridesmaids dresses with yellow heels and the mini grapes in the flowers! While the girls were hanging out and getting ready, Evan and the guys were at a house down the street with friends and family. Evan’s dad even made homemade hummus for the guys to snack on!Sometimes a man needs help tieing his tie. Evan’s brother had to come in to help.Evan showing off his custom R. Douglas suit to his friends. We can definitely appreciate a well made custom suit. Evan looked so handsome in his windowpane suit.Evan and Lynn decided they wanted to spend a little time together before the ceremony, so we did a first look with them. We always highly recommend this as it is such a special moment that the two of you get to share with each other.
And don’t think for a minute that seeing each other before the ceremony takes anything away from the emotion of that walk down the aisle. Evan just about had us in tears too as he looked upon Lynn coming towards him. A man in tears seeing his bride is something that always makes my heart flutter a little. It always reminds of when I saw Geoff with his one big alligator tear rolling down his cheek. Someone has to sign the marriage certificate to make it official!Giant whisk and giant eggs? Could not resist.Evan and Lynn had some really cute details at their reception. Check out that little house for cards. We also were able to design them escort cards, menus, and their custom photo guestbook. Because they are über cool, Evan and Lynn wanted the Shot Spot for entertainment. The guests were having a blast!Dancing the Hora always makes for some hilarious and amazing photos! Once the dance floor opened it was INSANE! I think this wedding will go down in Goodness history for the craziest dancing guests ever! Their amazing band, The All Stars, knew how to keep the dance floor going strong!
Congratulations Evan and Lynn!
