Matthew and Diane’s Fairytale Town wedding

I could not be more excited to share Matthew and Diane’s super sweet wedding. First of all these two got married at Fairytale Town, for goodness sakes! For those who have never been there, Fairytale Town is a children’s theme park based on nursery rhymes, fairy tales, and classic children’s stories. I remember going there all the time as a kid and loved getting to go back. It was a completely unique and unexpected, yet perfect place for a wedding. There were so many wonderful details and photo opportunities galore! Not only that but Matthew and Diane are seriously some of the SWEETEST people you’ll ever meet. The whole day was filled with love and friends and family. It was amazing just to be a part of it!

Our day started with some getting ready. While Geoff was off with the men at Matthew’s parents house, I was with Diane and her girls while they readied themselves in King Arthur’s Castle. Yeah, King Arthur’s Castle — how cool is that!?

Diane had these keys to give to Matthew during their first look. He wore them in his jacket pocket throughout the wedding. Diane said they were the keys to her heart. Awwwwww.

I love this photo that Geoff captured of Matthew and his not-so-little, little brother.

Matthew and Diane wanted to see each other before the ceremony, which we loved. We decided to have their first look along The Crooked Mile.

After some quick photos with the bridal party it was time to get married! Matthew and Diane’s ceremony was super sweet and personal.

After the ceremony, we took a photo tour around Fairytale Town. I think I could have shot there all day long! We had SO much fun chasing all over the place getting to pose in front of all the awesome and silly backgrounds.

I think my favorite was the pirate ship!

The castle ran a close second!

After that it was party time! Even the reception was full of tons of great little details!

One of my favorite things was the the escort cards that they made. They told me they found a random branch outside and sawed it up in to these cute wooden discs, then wrote each guest’s name on the front and table number on the back. Simple and cute!

The food from Hannibal’s Catering was divine!

We had so many favorite moments from this day, but this was one of the best. Diane’s two maids of honor sang “All I want is you” (will you be my bride? Take my by your hand and stand by my side. Hehe, I can’t help myself). It was SOOOO CUTE! I even found myself tearing up! Those girls sang beautifully!

Matthew and Diane are just plain awesome, so of course they had topped their wedding cake with the two most adorable goldfish EVER from our favorite cake-topper-maker, Bunny with a Toolbelt.

Their first dance song was sung by one of the MOHs. Another teary moment!

Like a cherry on top of a hot fudge sundae, Matthew and Diane ended their reception with a radical choreographed dance with the entire bridal party. Seriously, just when I think the day could not get any better, they go and bring the awesome with this dance.

I think this one is my FAVORITE.

You gotta admire a bride who will go down a slide in her wedding gown!

Matthew and Diane, we cannot thank you enough for choosing us to be a part of your wedding day! We feel so lucky to even have met you let alone experience this AMAZING day with you! We know you two are going to have nothing but joy in your marriage and we wish you the best!
