Nolan and Lisa’s lovely Empire Mine wedding
Super exciting news, my dear readers! We are so excited to announce that one of our favorites client’s wedding has been published in the Winter 2013 issue of Real Weddings magazine! Congratulations to Nolan and Lisa! They worked so hard to create an utterly beautiful and memorable event and I’m so glad that future brides will have the opportunity to be inspired by their happy day. We’ve been waiting until the magazine hit newsstands to share this wedding on our blog, and now that it has, we are so happy to share it here. Lisa and Nolan’s wedding at Empire Mine State Park was nothing short of perfection, from the very fun bridal party, to the cutest little youngsters, to the abundance of gorgeous details and the beautiful garden-like setting. It was our first time photographing at Empire Mine and let me tell you, it is gorgeous! I could have just walked the grounds all day long. I started my day with the ladies at a nearby hotel as they polished, primped, and preped for the big day. This is such a funny story. As a prank, Lisa bought an old wedding gown that was stained ripped, and pretty darn gross. When it was time to get dressed, the look on her grandmother’s face was priceless when she thought the dress had been ruined by the cleaners. Lisa quickly let them in on the joke but it was a great photo op!
Onto more sentimental matters, Nolan sent Lisa a stunning arrangement of flowers along with her wedding gift. Lisa couldn’t help but tear up reading his heartwarming card. Too much cuteness, I tell ya!As usual, Geoff got to hang out with the boys for the morning preparations. As a gift from Nolan, the guys received different cufflinks representing each of them individually. To share a personal moment together, Lisa and Nolan decided to see each other prior to the ceremony. I just love that we are able to capture these priceless expressions!I could not believe how beautiful everything looked at the wedding – and it was all DIY by Lisa with the help of friends. Wow! I know it was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun!Who wouldn’t love to have a celebration in a setting like this? This is too cute. Lisa and Nolan LOVE their dogs. All FIVE of them! So of course they had to have wedding favors for the furry family members! We feel so grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful wedding for the adorableness that is Lisa and Nolan. We know they are going to have an amazing marriage and life together!
